Auburn just added an elite commitment to one of the nation’s best recruiting classes as Rome, Ga., native Desmond Tisdol just announced his commitment to the Tigers.

The Wilcox County standout made his pledge live on CBS Sports HQ during the first day of the Early Signing Period. He picked Auburn over finalists Tennessee and South Carolina.

The 6-foot, 215-pound Tisdol is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 11 inside linebacker in the nation and a top 300 prospect in the nation by 247Sports Composite Ranking. Tisdol will be playing in the upcoming 2020 All-American Bowl which will be broadcast nationally by NBC.

Following this news, Auburn now holds commitments from 22 total prospects in a recruiting class that ranks in the top 10 nationally.
