Double up: Auburn adds 2nd commitment of day with pledge from JUCO linebacker
Bryan Harsin’s staff is having quite the three-day stretch on the recruiting trail.
JUCO linebacker Joko Willis became the second player to commit to Auburn on Monday and the fourth since Saturday.
Willis will join Auburn’s 2021 recruiting class. A native of LaGrange, Georgia, Willis will head to The Plains from Independence Community College in Kansas. He was formerly a 3-star recruit in the class of 2019 coming out of Troup County High School.
On the 247Sports Composite, Willis is rated the No. 2 inside linebacker and No. 22 prospect among JUCO products. He was committed to Kentucky from May 29, 2020 to Jan. 26, 2021. Willis also received scholarship offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State and South Carolina during his recruitment.
