Dreshun Miller has made his decision, he’s headed to the Southeastern Conference to finish out his college career.

When the former starting West Virginia cornerback initially announced his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal, many figured if Miller made his way to the SEC he’d land at Georgia to reconnect with his former position coach — Jahmile Addae — who was hired by Kirby Smart this offseason.

Instead, Miller will end up playing against Addae as the former West Virginia cornerback is headed to Auburn. He announced the news on Monday.

Auburn’s new defensive back has two seasons of eligibility remaining on The Plains and will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.

Miller started nine games for West Virginia last season, finishing the season with 31 tackles and an interception. The Mountaineers finished the season with the nation’s No. 1 passing defense.

His big season came after missing the entire 2019 season due to injury.

Miller came to West Virginia after starting his college career at Eastern Arizona College. Miller is a native of Kennesaw, Ga.
