Auburn landed its seventh commitment for the class of 2020 Saturday following the A-Day Game.

Three-star dual-threat QB Chayil Garnett (Lake Wales, FL) committed to the Tigers over offers from Duke, Bowling Green and Central Michigan, among others. The 6-foot-2, 205 pound signal caller is ranked as the nation’s No. 31 dual-threat QB and the state of Florida’s No. 126 overall prospect for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Garnett becomes the Tigers first commitment from Florida and the first QB commitment in the class.

The Tigers recruiting class is ranked No. 17 for the class of 2020 so far.
