Bruce Pearl’s Auburn program just landed a big pickup as former Eastern Kentucky guard Wendell Green has announced his commitment to the Tigers.

Green played just one season at Eastern Kentucky and will have four seasons of eligibility remaining at Auburn due to the NCAA giving out a free season of eligibility last season due to COVID.

During his lone season at Eastern Kentucky, Green averaged 15.8 points, five assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest. He started 25 of the 29 games he played in last season.

He is a native of Detroit, Mich.

To get an idea of what Green brings to The Plains, here are the highlights of his appearance against Murray State last season in which he scored 24 points and had eight assists.
