You know Auburn has a loaded coaching staff when a 2020 Broyles Award nominee agrees to join the program as a support staff member.

That’s the case on The Plains heading into spring practice this season as Bryan Harsin has assembled an impressive collection of coaches to join him for his first season at Auburn.

Former Boise State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Eric Kiesau has officially been added to Auburn’s coaching staff and is now listed as a Senior Offensive Analyst on the team’s website. Just last season, Kiesau was honored as a Broyles Award nominee, which is an award given to the nation’s best assistant coach each season.

Under Kiesau’s guidance, Boise State averaged 33.9 points per game, his fourth season running the program’s offense under Harsin.

Kiesau also has experience serving as an offensive coordinator at Fresno State, Washington and Colorado. He also has SEC experience serving as an analyst for Alabama during the 2015 season. The Crimson Tide won the national championship in his lone season in Tuscaloosa.
