Former Auburn DB Jonathan Jones scores first NFL TD
Jonathan Jones iced the New England Patriots’ win over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday with the first touchdown of his NFL career.
New England’s lead was 19-3 before Jones intercepted a tipped ball deep in Colts’ territory. Any hopes of a late comeback were dashed when Jones crossed the goal line to make it 25-3 with 3:59 to go. The extra point made it 26-3, the game’s final score.

Jones was not drafted in 2016, but landed in New England and is in his 7th season with the Patriots. This is his first season starting every game for the club.
