LB Richard McBryde has spent the last 4 years with the Auburn Tigers, missing the 2018 campaign with a neck injury.
Earlier this offseason, he entered the NCAA transfer portal, and now it appears he has chosen a new school.
Per a report from 247Sports, McBryde has enrolled at SMU as a graduate transfer — the 16th transfer to land at SMU this offseason.
McBryde will be eligible right away as a grad transfer, and is expected to have 2 years of eligibility remaining after missing last year with that neck injury.
During his Auburn career, McBryde recorded 15 tackles (2 for a loss) and defended 1 pass.
