Former Auburn player, ESPN sideline reporter names offensive coordinator candidates
In the never-ending quest for offensive dominance, the Auburn Tigers may look to the offense-happy Pac-12 for their new offensive coordinator.
According to former Auburn player Cole Cubelic, now an ESPN sideline reporter, the Tigers will consider Arizona State offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey for the position vacated by Rhett Lashlee, who left for UConn on Wednesday:
"Right now Chip Lindsey is the leader in the clubhouse. Jake Spavital & Eliah Drinkwitz are also on the list" – @colecubelic

Lindsey spent the 2016 season with the Sun Devils after spending the previous two years with Southern Mississippi.
Jake Spavital and Eliah Drinkwitz, the offensive coordinators at Cal and North Carolina State, respectively, are also on Cubelic’s list. Drinkwitz served as a quality control assistant with Auburn in 2010 and 2011.
We need to make a home run hire. I’m not sure if any of those guys qualify or not.
Unfortunately, Auburn isn’t going to make a home run hire and snag Art Briles, simply because they would rather be the Champions of Integrity instead of football.
I assure nobody thinks of integrity when they think of Auburn.
I assure you nobody thinks of football when they think of georgia
