Former Auburn coach Gus Malzahn was set to take the 2021 season off to relax after being fired by the Tigers following the 2020 campaign.

However, when the UCF job came open, the Knights came calling and Malzahn answered the phone. Now, he’s in Orlando building his first UCF squad.

On Tuesday evening, former Auburn RB Mark-Antony Richards announced via Twitter that he was following his old coach to UCF:

In 2020, Richards played in 4 games for the Tigers. He carried the ball 20 times for 76 yards.

As a member of the 2019 recruiting class, Richards was a 4-star prospect. Per the 247Sports composite rankings, he was the No. 4 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
