Gary Danielson faces backlash as fans lament his call of Penn State at Auburn

Gary Danielson was on fans’ minds throughout the first half of the Penn State-Auburn game on Saturday as the “SEC on CBS” broadcast featured plenty of reviews about analytics, clock management and big hits.
A couple of fans pointed out his description of Joey Porter Jr., and Penn State fans got a dose of what SEC fans hear each week on the broadcast. In an ongoing refrain, Penn State fans did not appreciate that, to them, it appeared that he was rooting for Auburn.
Penn State scored a late touchdown to take a 14-6 lead at halftime.
