Gus Malzahn discusses injury status of QB Jarrett Stidham, WR Will Hastings
The Auburn Tigers have been hit hard by the injury bug this spring, with WRs Eli Stove and Will Hastings already having gone down.
Meanwhile, QB Jarrett Stidham hasn’t returned yet after undergoing shoulder surgery this offseason.
On Saturday, coach Gus Malzahn confirmed that Hastings had surgery on his ACL, which is obviously a lengthy recovery process for the receiver:

The prognosis for Stidham is a little better, but Malzahn isn’t ready to say whether or not he’ll play in the A-Day spring game:

Whatever happens for the rest of the spring, Auburn’s biggest goal will be to escape without any more serious injuries.
They still have some weapons in their receiving corps, but losing Stove and Hastings is going to hurt if they’re not ready to play this fall.
