One key player for Auburn to be aware of this week against Ole Miss is WR Elijah Moore. Coach Gus Malzahn has seen enough to understand why he’s a key player in the Rebels offense.

“He attacks the football, you can tell he and the quarterback have a connection,” Malzahn said on the SEC coaches media teleconference. “We will have to be aware of where he’s at.”

Speaking of wide receivers, Auburn has a dangerous one of its own in Eli Stove.

“He’s a veteran guy, played a lot of ball, played in a lot of big games,” Malzahn said. “He is stepping up, we didn’t have him two weeks ago but he made some big plays.”

Malzahn also acknowledged that the Auburn offensive line is in a better place that it’s been in a while.

“I think we’re healthier than we were last week, we’ll see but so far so good,” Malzahn said.

Ole Miss and Auburn will meet in Oxford this week for a 11 a.m. local time kickoff on Saturday. Auburn has won four straight in the series.
