The Georgia Bulldogs took it to the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night, earning a comfortable 28-7 victory over their opponents to claim an SEC title.

That was a drastic turnaround from a game earlier this season in which the Tigers trounced the Bulldogs 40-17 in Auburn.

After the game, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn was asked about his future plans, as he’s been linked to the open Arkansas job in recent days. He, of course, was non-committal with his answers, toeing the company line while saying he wants to be the head coach at Auburn:

Will Arkansas make him an offer he can’t refuse? That remains to be seen, but it’s probably safe to assume at this point that the Hogs will come in with a big offer to try to lure Malzahn away from Auburn.

If Malzahn’s Tigers had won on Saturday and advanced to the College Football Playoff, he likely would have stayed, but for now, everything is up in the air.
