Jabari Smith Jr. was one of the best players in the country this year, showing off his elite all-around game for the Auburn Tigers.

He’s in the mix to be the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, so it’s no surprise that, on Tuesday morning, he revealed he was declaring and heading to the pros.

Smith thanked Auburn for an incredible year, which included an SEC regular-season title, in the below video while making his decision official:

Smith retweeted the video with a “War Eagle” message:

Smith appeared in 34 games for Auburn this past season, starting all of them. He averaged 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1 block per game.

We’ll see where he goes in July’s draft, but it would be shocking if he wasn’t a top-3 pick.
