Jaylin Williams is ready to run it back on The Plains.

Williams announced that he would withdraw his name from the NBA Draft, and have one last ride at Auburn.

The 6-foot-8 and 230-pound forward last season was the team’s third-leading scorer (11.2 ppg) and third-leading rebounder (4.7 rpg) playing and starting in 33 games of the season. He also made the second-most 3-pointers on the team (40). Williams also shot a career-best 35.4% from 3-point range last season.

All that was an improvement from a junior season in which Williams was one of the team’s top reserves and saw action in 31 games and averaged 5.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game.

Williams also reached double figures in 20 contests last season including a season-best 21 points against Mississippi State and 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting against Georgia State.

Notably, Williams was a part of a senior class that was one of the winningest in program history compiling an 87-39 overall record and going 44-28 in SEC play over 4 seasons from 2019-23.
