Auburn just beat Alabama once again this year.

Both SEC West programs, and Ole Miss, were hoping to land Oxford native Jeremiah Pegues on Wednesday but when it came time for the four-star tight end/defensive lineman to make his decision, it was War Eagle that won out.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Pegues is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 7 athlete in the nation and Mississippi’s No. 4 overall recruit by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Following Pegues’ commitment, Auburn now has 21 total commitments in the 2020 recruiting cycle.

The Tigers currently have a top 10 class in the nation and the SEC’s No. 6 recruiting class.
