Auburn’s quarterback situation has been up-and-down ever since the departure of Bo Nix and that’s something that has continued into the season, but Oregon transfer Robby Ashford has received plenty of praise and has begun to make a name for himself.

Up next, he and the Tigers will face a Georgia Bulldogs team that narrowly avoided a loss to the Missouri Tigers last week. And head coach Kirby Smart is heading into this contest with ab great deal of respect for Ashford, specifically with what he brings to the table

“He is really special with twitch, being elusive.”

Ashford finished out his most recent performance, the narrow 21-17 loss to LSU, 19-of-38 passing for 337 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also had 19 yards on the ground, but has shown to be a potentially much more of a rushing threat against teams.

Georgia and Auburn are set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.
