Big start to the month: Auburn nabs commitment from talented Florida defender Marquis Robinson
The Auburn Tigers have had a big start to the month of August, landing their 11th and 12th commitments for the 2021 recruiting class.
Saturday morning, the Tigers landed a commitment from 3-star defensive end Tobechi Okoli out of Kansas City. Later Saturday night, AU landed a commitment from 4-star defensive tackle Marquis Robinson out of Milton, Florida.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive lineman ranks as the nation’s No. 18 overall defensive tackle and the state of Florida’s No. 51 prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He committed to Auburn over offers from Alabama, Florida State and Georgia, among others.

Robinson is the 5th Auburn commitment for the recruiting cycle from the state of Florida, compared to just 2 commitments from the state of Alabama (so far).
