Nehemiah Pritchett is moving on after a long career at Auburn. Now, Pritchett is preparing for his jump to the next level and the 2024 NFL Draft.

Head coach Lane Kiffin said Saturday that Pritchett was a player looking to opt out of the upcoming bowl game for the Tigers. The veteran defensive back confirmed that move Saturday evening, penning a farewell note to the Tiger fanbase.

“Choosing Auburn University was one of the best decisions of my life,” Pritchett wrote in his Instagram announcement. “Receiving a degree and playing football at this university were easily some of my biggest blessings. The memories I’ve made at Auburn University will forever stay with me as I continue to work toward my dreams.

“Lastly, to my Auburn family, I will miss you guys immensely packing out Jordan-Hare on Saturdays. Thank you for the crazy amount of support you implemented. I will forever cherish the moments created.

“With that being said, I will not be participating in our upcoming bowl game because I will be focusing on preparing for the 2024 NFL Draft.”
