The man they call ‘Flash’ lived up to his nickname at Auburn’s Pro Day.

Anthony Schwartz very well could be the fastest player entering the NFL this offseason and he proved it during Auburn’s Pro Day event on Thursday.

If you were unaware, there won’t be an NFL Combine this year due to COVID. Instead, the only opportunity NFL scouts will have to evaluate players in person will come at Pro Day events like the one Auburn is holding on campus on Thursday.

That makes the performances and measurables players register at Pro Days all the more important this year.

When it comes to Schwartz’s stock, he’s going to be evaluated based primarily on his speed and he certainly didn’t disappoint during the Pro Day.

While his time is being reported as unofficial, Auburn claims Schwartz ran a 4.26 40-yard dash. That time would represent the fastest time officially recorded at the 2020 NFL Combine last year.

Alabama’s Henry Ruggs ran a 4.27 40-yard dash, which was the best at that event.
