Auburn defensive tackle Coynis Miller Jr. is doing his part to stir the conference rivalry between the SEC and the Big Ten.

“I wanna see chase young come get 16 sacks in the SEC,” Miller tweeted, which opened up the Big Ten flood gates to defend the Ohio State pass rusher and likely top five NFL Draft pick.

Young was a Heisman Trophy finalist, who not only made 16.5 sacks for Ohio State, which were tops in the country, but had six quarterback hurries and three pass breakups even though he missed two games. He also had 21 tackles for a loss. Young was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, and also led the country with seven forced fumbles.

But then Ohio State teammate Damon Arnette weighed in to defend the fellow Buckeye: “Bra what did u do this year.”

Miller played in nine games and made four tackles, including two for a loss, and made two pass breakups. The sophomore is 6-foot-2 and 312 pounds from Decatur, Alabama. He was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school and rated the No. 13 defensive tackle by 247Sports.

This is probably a lesson for Miller to learn from as there’s no reason to think Young’s numbers would fluctuate drastically in a different conference.
