Finebaum made an appearance on Sports Radio 105.5 WNSP and talked to Mark Heim about the inaccurate report. Finebaum took a jab at McCarron’s recent record against Auburn (via

“AJ has fumbled this one terribly,” Finebaum said to Heim. “He’s now 0-2 in his last two encounters with Auburn.”

Alabama and McCarron’s 2013 loss to Auburn was referenced by Finebaum. He pointed out how this latest report was another loss to Auburn for McCarron. In McCarron’s report, he said that Auburn broke the news to Harsin after the Penn State loss.

Auburn holds a 3-1 record heading into Week 5 and the Penn State loss was the only loss of the season. Harsin has an important SEC game coming up against LSU on Saturday.
