This picture shows the devastating toll this season has taken on Auburn's roster
Auburn went from being the hottest team in the country to experiencing a sudden downturn.
This picture gives a pretty good indication of how that happened:
Because several have asked, the list of Auburn injuries – 14 out this week, projected redshirts, former walk-ons on scholarship = 25 players pic.twitter.com/bgsgFohOl2

The Tigers have been ravaged by injuries, with 14 players — not including quarterback Sean White, who is questionable — having already been declared out against Alabama A&M this week.
When you add the projected redshirts and former walk-ons who have earned scholarships, that’s more than 25 percent of the roster gone in the final stage of the season.
Auburn has 14 players out this week, not including Sean White. Add in redshirts, former walk-ons on scholarship & that's over 25% of roster.

That could help explains Auburn’s late-season slide. The Tigers barely edged four-win Vanderbilt at home before losing at Georgia 13-7 last Saturday.
The absence of star running back Kamryn Pettway coupled with White’s injury were what many believed doomed Auburn in Athens. But after a closer look, it’s clear the entire roster is hurting right now.
All these injuried didnt happen the last week. So after the media jumps on the hype train you immediately blame injuries for their loss?
A lot of these have been lingering injuries. Gus just doesn’t like giving out a lot of information about this kind of thing. We just happen to have an easy game this week and can afford to sit a lot of our banged up guys, hence the long injury report.
TBH Ole Miss was the last time Auburn’s offense was healthy. You could really tell watching them against Vandy and especially UGA
So what was the excuse for UF laying an egg against the piggies??? and for trying to avoid playing LSU???
We got beat… a healthy UF team would of lost. Theres not a single article saying UF lost bc of injuries. Thats the difference.
There’s no excuse for losing last week. Coaches laid an egg. There are a lot of injuries on this team. But it’s not like they all happened before last week’s game. That game plan was just plain pitiful.
*offensively
Agreed. I believe injuries played some role, but the “Let’s get away from what we do best” game plan in the second half cost us the game. Four 3rd and 2s, and we through the ball on each one. F*cking stupid.
What about the early season slide?
That was clearly before they were healthy lol.
Slide? You mean 6 pts to Clemson? Before we had settled on a QB and before Kam started getting reps? You need to worry about the 26th if we get key players back.
