Carlson is 22-of-25 this year on field goals. Of the three misses, two were blocked with only a 54-yard attempt against Alabama A&M clearing the line of scrimmage.

The fourth-year junior already holds the school record for field goals made (63). With 335 career points, his return virtually guarantees he will pass former AU kicker Wes Byrum’s record of 363 points.
