NFL free agency officially started on Monday, and there was a flurry of activity as teams work on their 2021 rosters.
And, in a bit of surprising news, former Auburn DL Carl Lawson will no longer be with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Lawson has signed with the New York Jets, where he’ll have a contract for 3 years and $45 million with $30 million guaranteed:

Lawson had 36 tackles and 5.5 sacks for the Bengals last year. He was a Round 4 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
How he fares in New York remains to be seen, but the Jets are betting he’ll be a standout pass rusher for years to come.
