Jovon Robinson was reportedly dismissed from the Auburn football program due to multiple recent incidents, including one with a teammate and another with a young woman, according to AL.com.

Robinson and Auburn defensive back Marshall Taylor recently attended a party in Columbus, Georgia, where a physical altercation took place involving Taylor, who sources claimed was the victim in the incident. A source also noted that Robinson felt he was being blamed for the incident.

Taylor, who is a graduate transfer from Miami (Ohio) missed the first two days of Auburn’s fall camp practice and reportedly had no intention of returning to the program if Robinson was with the team, but that alone did not influence Robinson’s dismissal.

A separate incident involved Robinson and a young woman is what is believed to have led to his dismissal, according to multiple sources. The details are unclear, but the sources have confirmed that there was a disagreement between Robinson and the woman, who he eventually led out of the room.

Robinson has not been charged with any recent crimes in either Alabama or Georgia.

Robinson was dismissed by the team on Wednesday. There have been several conflicting reports about what caused Auburn’s decision. ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reported Wednesday that Robinson was dismissed for missing classes and team meetings and “continued inattention to detail in everything,” according to sources.

Robinson rushed for 639 yards and three touchdowns on 237 attempts, which was the most by a returning Auburn back.
