Robert Griffin III was the target of fan criticism during the broadcast of Auburn at Texas A&M.

RG3 was paired with Bob Wischusen with Kris Budden on the sideline from Kyle Field.

The first reaction to Griffin was his glasses, as fans suggested they might be something a grandmother would wear.

As for the game, Griffin was slow to point out on a possible scoop-and-score for Texas A&M that it was, in fact, an incomplete forward pass for Auburn. It wasn’t until the play was reviewed that Griffin and Wischusen mentioned that possibility.

Griffin also highlighted the struggles of Auburn’s quarterback.

“The thing that’s going to determine this game is what Payton Thorne shows up,” Griffin said. “And right now, it’s the Payton Thorne that is overthrowing guys and does not look in rhythm at all.”

Both offenses struggled as Texas A&M had a 6-0 lead for much of the first half, as Auburn was 1-for-5 on 3rd down, and A&M was 2-for-6 with 5 minutes remaining in the half. Auburn also had 6 penalties and Thorne especially struggled as he was 5-for-10 passing for 46 yards with less than 5 minutes remaining.

Here’s a sample of the reaction:
