Desperate for help at receiver, Auburn quarterback Sean White found a target in an unusual suspect this offseason.

According to former Auburn kicker Will Hastings, the quarterback helped him prepare for a transition to receiver during the offseason by putting in some work together over the summer. In fact, according to Hastings, White even predicted the move:

So far the transition has paid off for Hastings, as the former walk-on already has a touchdown reception and 63 yards on five catches to start the season.

Considering All-SEC kicker Daniel Carlson was in front on him on the depth chart, you have to give credit to Hastings for his ability to adapt and quickly adjust to his new role in the offense. According to 247Sports, Hastings had over 2,000 yards receiving in high school, so the best could be yet to come for the former special teamer on the Plains.
