The final week of the college football season is commonly known as Rivalry Week. It’s only fitting that “SEC Nation” is heading to the conference’s biggest football rivalry, the Iron Bowl.

The SEC Network announced Sunday that its traveling pregame show will be in Auburn on Saturday Nov. 30 for the rivalry showdown with Alabama. It’s the first time since 2011 that the game between the Tigers and Crimson Tide does not have SEC West implications, but it could have College Football Playoff implications. Alabama is at No. 5 in the selection committee rankings and can get a resume boost with a win over a ranked AU squad. If a spot opens up in the top four, UA will likely to have to get in over the Big 12 or Pac-12 champion. Gus Malzahn’s squad will have something to say about that.

The Tigers won the last meeting at Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2017, 26-14. The Tide got revenge last year in Tuscaloosa, winning 52-21.
