Sonny DiChiara is not going to be a Rocket City Trash Panda (what a name) for long.
The 5th-round MLB draft selection is already showing out for the Double-A Trash Panda, reaching base in 4 straight at-bats. At the time of writing, Rocket City leads, 6-4.
And DiChiara is a major reason why. He has 2 hits on the afternoon, including this one just past the 3rd baseman for his first professional hit.

His first career professional RBI came about 30 minutes later, smashing a 2-run RBI double to centerfield.

His two following at-bats included a HBP and what essentially turned into an intentional walk. The opposing pitcher threw 2 balls into the dirt with men on base and mailed in 2 more balls to put DiChiara on base for the 4th time on the afternoon.
