Auburn had to fight several SEC programs to land Cordale Flott but the Saraland, Ala., native has decided to stay home and commit to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound Flott is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings and holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others. Interestingly enough, he recently named the Gators his leader but has decided to go another way soon after making that declaration.

Here is Flott’s announcement of his commitment to the “University of Auburn”:

Auburn now has four commitments lined up for the 2018 recruiting cycle, with Flott being the first defensive prospect on the board for the program.
