Recruiting never stops in college football.
Following the class of 2019’s National Signing Day, Auburn picked up a big commitment from 4-star OL Avery Jernigan (Blackshear, Ga.) for the class of 2020. The 6-foot-3, 278-pound OT is ranked as the nation’s No. 36 overall OT and the state of Georgia’s No. 32 overall prospect, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He committed to Auburn over offers from South Carolina, Florida State and Kentucky, among others.
Following Jernigan’s commitment, Auburn now has five commitments for the class of 2020. He became the Tigers’ first OL commit.
