Tim Tebow is known for his preaching. The Florida quarterback preached patience on this occasion.

The former Florida quarterback said Auburn fans should cut coach Bryan Harsin some slack, per this report by On3, during the Paul Finebaum Show.

“I like some of the things he’s done. Some of his mannerisms, his comments — I’ve appreciated. There’s probably a little bit of an adjustment period, getting used to this league,” Tebow said of the SEC. “But his success at Boise (State). Did they have some talent when he showed up (at Auburn)? Yes, they did. But I think there’s also fitting it to his culture, his mode. I think that’s going to take a little bit.”

Former NBA star Charles Barkley also shared his thoughts on The Paul Finebaum show. Barkley made his comments after Auburn has lost three consecutive SEC games, to Texas A&M, Mississippi State and South Carolina.

“The last couple games have been upsetting but you know what, I’m all in on Coach Harsin. I think you have to be patient with him,” said Barkley, who is now a basketball analyst on TNT. “The last time we talked, I told you I have faith in him. He’s only been there 11 games.”

Those last three losses won’t matter at all if Auburn can win today. The Tigers are heavy underdogs when they host Alabama at 3:30 EST today.
