Time for a switch? Bo Nix’s rough first half has fans tweeting about Joey Gatewood

True freshman Bo Nix’s first outing as the Auburn starting quarterback is not going the way Tigers fans hoped.

In the first half, Nix was 6-of-18 passing for 91 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns. It’s no surprise to see that many people watching (Auburn fans, SEC fans, college football fans) are wondering if head coach Gus Malzahan should make a change and go with Joey Gatewood, the redshirt freshman who lost the offseason competition to Nix.
