TJ Finley has battled a shoulder injury for a while, and the Auburn quarterback is reportedly set to miss another game this week when Auburn plays host to LSU.

Finley is dealing with a Grade 2 AC sprain in his right shoulder and is expected to miss this week’s game against his former team, LSU, Tom Green of AL.com reported. It’s still unclear when he could return to the field.

Finley injured his shoulder late in the first half of Auburn’s 41-12 loss to Penn State on Sept. 17, when he took off on a keeper inside the final minute of the half before being dragged down by multiple defenders.

Finley started Auburn’s first 3 games, but missed last week’s win over Missouri.

Coach Bryan Harsin on the SEC coaches media teleconference on Wednesday said Finley was “day-to-day.”

“He was out there yesterday,” Harsin said. “We’ll see how he goes today and what it looks like. Robby has continued to practice well. … Feel good about our practice and some of the things we’re doing with that position in particular.”
