TJ Lindsey, 4-star Auburn target, sets commitment date and finalizes top 5

TJ Lindsey announced Monday evening that he has officially cut his list to 5 while setting a commitment date of August 12.
Lindsey, a 4-star DL in the Class of 2024, has an impressive top 5 that includes Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M, Texas and Miami. However, Auburn and Texas A&M especially seem to have distanced themselves from the pack according to predictions from 247Sports.
Steve Wiltfong, Director of Football Recruiting for 247, placed a crystal ball for Lindsey to commit to Auburn on July 31. Lindsey has taken an official visit to all but Alabama in the past few months. He visited Auburn on June 2.

Lindsey hails from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and stands at 6-5, 265 pounds. He also plays basketball for IMG.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Lindsey is considered to be the No. 304 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 34 defensive lineman and No. 46 player out of the talent-rich state of Florida.
