Tony Fair is ready to make his decision.

The former UAB defensive lineman entered the NCAA transfer portal in early May, but it didn’t take him long to narrow his options down to Auburn, Ole Miss, and Purdue as the South Bend, Indiana native will either continue his college career in the South playing in the nation’s toughest conference or decide to play closer to home.

Last season, Fair registered 21 tackles, a sack, and three tackles for a loss for UAB. During the 2019 season, Fair had 36 tackles, five tackles for a loss, a sack, and two forced fumbles.

On Tuesday, Fair announced he plans to make his transfer decision on Wednesday. He will announce his decision on Instagram.

“Haven’t been talking to any coaches the past few days. Wanted to clear my mind so I could make the best decision for me. Follow me on IG: @Tfair__ for my decision on where I will finish my senior year Tomorrow. Thank you to all the coaches for the offers.”

While Ole Miss could use all the defensive linemen it can get, the Rebels did sign the nation’s top two junior college defensive linemen this offseason in Isaiah Iton and Jamond Gordon. On the other hand, Auburn has seen multiple defensive linemen enter the NCAA transfer portal in recent weeks.
