In what is not much of a surprise given Tuesday’s news, Tyrone Truesdell has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
Bryan Harsin previously announced that Truesdell, a starter the last 2 seasons on the defensive line, is no longer part of the team. Justin Hokanson of AuburnLive.com reported the transfer portal news about Truesdell.
Truesdell, who returned this spring to take advantage of the NCAA’s free year of eligibility, was expected to be an anchor on the defensive line this season, and fill a leadership role on that part of the team.
The 6-foot-2 and 335-pounder out of Augusta, Georgia has 67 career tackles and has made contributions to the program for 4 seasons, including the last 2 as a starter.
During that time, Truesdell appeared in 44 games and made 19 starts with 9 tackles for a loss and 3 sacks.
Former Auburn DT Tyrone Truesdell has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per sources.
Bryan Harsin confirmed on Tuesday that Truesdell wasn’t on the team anymore.
