Video: Auburn fans in attendance don't hold back on Joe Mixon during Sugar Bowl
When any individual is in the public spotlight, they are instantly and automatically open to criticism — unfairly or not.
It’s been a little more than a week since Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon issued a public apology to the woman he had a physical altercation with in 2014.
Monday night’s Sugar Bowl matchup versus Auburn marked the first game Mixon has played in since the Dec. 23 press conference. Unsurprisingly, the Auburn faithful in attendance targeted Mixon with some vitriol stemming from the incident:
In response to these chants — and other boos throughout the game — Mixon appeared to egg on the fans:

Should Mixon return to Norman for another season, he likely will get similar reactions for each and every away game.
