It’s no secret that transfer QB Jarrett Stidham is the marquee draw for Auburn fans watching A-Day at Jordan-Hare Stadium and on the SEC Network. In his first spring game drive, Stidham showed what the hype is all about, with a 50-yard pass to WR Nate Craig-Myers.

The big pass play set up a touchdown run by RB Kerryon Johnson, with Stidham blocking on the play. Stidham finished 3-for-3 with 61 yards on the first drive.

Stidham completed his first five passes of the day, looking poised in the pocket with quiet feet. He certainly has enough arm talent to make any throw on the field, and if he continues to improve and stay healthy, Auburn’s offense could return to form under Gus Malzahn.

Here’s what everyone is saying about Stidham so far:
