WATCH: Auburn gearing up for Music City Bowl with release of new hype reel

Auburn has only won one bowl game in the Gus Malzahn era but that could change this week as the Tigers are set to face Purdue in the upcoming Music City Bowl.
The Tigers are currently listed as a 3.5-point favorite in the game after a 7-5 season. Purdue went 6-6 this season with a 5-4 Big Ten mark. The team did face an SEC opponent this season, losing at home to Missouri 40-37 back on Sept. 15.
Malzahn’s club is already in Nashville and hard at work toward getting a win in the upcoming contest against its Big Ten opponent. The game is set to be played Friday, Dec. 28 on ESPN.
