The Auburn baseball team has been in a bit of a slide recently. After losing seven of their previous nine games entering this weekend’s series against Ole Miss, the Tigers had fallen out of the top 25 in the D1Baseball poll.
The Tigers are still No. 23 in the Coaches Poll, though, and with the No. 17 Rebels coming to town, they had a chance to rebound.
On Thursday, Auburn won 7-4 before falling 5-3 on Friday. On Saturday, the game went into extra innings before junior Conor Davis decided to send fans home happy:

That sealed a 6-5 win for the Tigers and improved their season record to 26-14 (10-8 in SEC play).
The Tigers will take on Jacksonville State on Tuesday before heading to No. 5 Vanderbilt for a series next weekend.
