WATCH: Bruce Pearl has his own ‘dog crap’ moment after big Auburn win, ironically with Gus Malzahn at his side

Known for being a high energy coach, Bruce Pearl took it to another level Wednesday night after his Auburn team destroyed Alabama at home by a score of 90-71. The win inches the Tigers closer to capturing the regular season SEC title and the coveted No. 1 spot in the upcoming SEC Tournament.
So what exactly did Pearl do after the game? He took a page out of Gus Malzahn’s book and delivered a line that all Auburn fans are going to love.
While Malzahn was congratulating Pearl for his team’s impressive accomplishment, the Tigers were down to seven scholarship players due to a recent injury and an illness, the Auburn basketball coach couldn’t temper his excitement on the court after the game.
“We beat that ass!” Pearl exclaimed to Malzahn.
“I’m happy for you, man,” Malzahn responded.
Malzahn made a similar claim after his Auburn team beat No. 1 ranked Georgia by a score of 40-17 on Nov. 11 on The Plains. The Tigers coach famously said, “we whipped the dog crap out of them, didn’t we?”
