When playing an important SEC game, setting the tone early is key, and that’s what Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson did against Ole Miss on Saturday.

During the Tigers’ first drive, he took a handoff from QB Jarrett Stidham and made the Ole Miss defense pay.

As you can see below, Johnson delivers two powerful stiff-arms and also breaks another tackle on a long run for a first down:

Johnson went on to score a touchdown later in the drive — his 10th touchdown of the season already.

Auburn took a 7-0 lead at home thanks to Johnson’s efforts, and it appears as if he’s just getting started. We could see a lot more from the talented Auburn back on Saturday afternoon.
