Bells and whistles are a necessity in college football these days, especially when it comes to facilities to impress recruits.

Auburn recently unveiled its new game day facility, a 44,000 square foot space. It includes room for Olympic sports, club space for fans, a media press box and a 16,000 square foot renovation of the existing football locker room. The video below is courtesy of AL.com.

The new facility highlights plenty of Auburn’s history, including “The Heisman Room,” and a two-level club area called the “Tiger Walk Club.” That overlooks Pat Dye Field and includes a view to the south for the traditional pre-game Tiger Walk with the team.

Athletics Director Allen Greene gave visitors a tour of the building, which includes such attention to detail as special brick, a Toomer’s chandelier and special shower heads.

There’s no doubt this renovation and addition will turn heads for recruits and their families.
