To the relief of many basketball fans, Duke is not in the Final Four. Blue Devils star Zion Williamson was in Minneapolis this week, however, to accept the national player of the year honor from the Basketball Writers Association and Associated Press.

While speaking to reporters, Williams shared his impressions of the Final Four teams, including Auburn and Virginia. He declined to share which team he thinks will win it all, but wished them all the best of luck.

“Auburn is a fast-paced team that can shoot the 3-ball very well,” Williamson said, per Brad Crawford of 247Sports. “They’re very aggressive.”

He was able to offer more detailed thoughts on ACC rival Virginia, AU’s Saturday opponent.

“What stood out about Virginia was how they can control the pace of the game,” Williamson said. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen them frustrated. So they control the game very well.”

If Bruce Pearl’s squad gets hot from behind the 3-point line, we might finally see Virginia get frustrated. The game is set for a 6:09 p.m. ET tipoff on CBS. UVA is currently favored by 5.5 points.
