Bryan Bresee to miss Clemson game with non-football medical issue, per reports
Bryan Bresee, a Clemson defensive tackle, is reportedly out of Saturday’s game against N.C. State because of a non-football medical issue, according to multiple reports.
Bresee had blood work this week, got good news from doctors and isn’t expected to be out for long, Larry Williams of TigerIllustrated reported.
Bresee’s family has received widespread support in recent weeks because of the loss of his sister, Ella, following a battle with brain cancer. Bresee missed the the Louisiana Tech game to be with his family following Ella’s death. He returned to play against Wake Forest last week, and made 2 tackles in the double-overtime win.

Bresee was limited to just 4 games last season after he tore his ACL in Clemson’s loss to NC State. He’s in his third season and projects as a top NFL draft prospect, ESPN reported. ESPN’s Todd McShay has Bresee as the No. 13 overall player in the 2023 NFL draft.
