Clemson hosted Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon in a game many expected the Tigers to run away with.

Well, that didn’t happen, as the Clemson offense failed to get going and the Yellow Jackets kept things close. In fact, Tech had a chance to tie it up late in the fourth quarter.

However, needing a touchdown and a 2-point conversion to tie it up, Georgia Tech failed on this fourth-and-goal from the 2-yard line:

That was a bad play call, yes, but Clemson holding on to only escape with a 14-6 win wasn’t what many fans wanted to see.

That performance from Dabo Swinney’s squad drew plenty of concern on social media:

Is this a team that can win out in the ACC and make a run at a Playoff spot? The defense is legit, but the offense has plenty of question marks.

We’ll see what happens as the season wears on.
