Clemson trolls South Carolina over CFP after ACC Championship Game

Clemson has not forgotten about its in-state rival, the South Carolina Gamecocks. Then two teams most recently faced each other in the annual Palmetto Bowl game during Rivalry Week, in which the Gamecocks got the upper hand in a 17-14 victory.
That did not deter Clemson from trolling South Carolina in a recent post made to X at all, though. South Carolina’s official football account had made a post that tagged the College Football Playoff and read “U up?”. Clemson quoted the post with some words of its own, which were really just a single trophy and smiley face emoji.
Here’s a look at the post:

Clemson secured a College Football Playoff spot by winning the ACC Championship and finishing as one of the top 5 conference champions, defeating SMU 34-31. The Tigers were revealed to be the 12-seed in the 12-team field.
It’s rare to see the loser of a Rivalry Week game get the last laugh just 8 days later, but that’s the case this year, as Clemson makes the CFP and South Carolina is outside of the final 12-team field.
